In piazza Cavour c'è un grande palazzo dove nel 1380 nacque San Bernardino. Qui, alla fine del XIX secolo, aprì un'antica distilleria e drogheria. Si chiamava distilleria Billi e proseguì la sua attività fino al secondo dopoguerra, poi ci fu un ingrosso di frutta e infine un bar. L'antica distilleria Billi produceva l'Amaro Santa Maria, che fu esportato fin negli Stati Uniti. Per un po' di tempo, addirittura, questo prodotto venne pubblicizzato nei cieli di New York grazie al passaggio di un idrovolante. Nel 1957 nacque qui il Bar Sport, che per molti anni, durante le domeniche di calcio, ha unito gli appassionati dello sport nazionale. Oggi si chiama Bar San Michele in omaggio di un'antica chiesa che si trovava dove oggi c'è la piazza. 

There's a big building in Cavour square, where San Bernardino was born in 1380. Here, at the end of XIX century, an ancient distillery and grocery was opened. It was called Billi distillery and this business was carried out until after the Second World War, then it became a fruit wholesale store and finally a café. The ancient Billi distillery used to make the Amaro Santa Maria (a kind of bitters), that was exported even to the United States of America. For a while this product was advertised in New York sky through the passage of a seaplane. Bar Sport (Sport café) was born here in 1957, that joined together national sports lovers during many football Sundays. Its name is today Bar San Michele, as a tribute to an ancient church that was situated where the square is today.
